Vita — Privacy Policy

Vita is a personal AI assistant you talk to over Telegram or web chat. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have.

What we collect

• Your messages to Vita, and what you ask it to remember (tasks, reminders, decisions, people, notes, things you track).
• Account identifier for your channel (e.g. your Telegram chat id) so we can reply to you.
• Google Calendar data — only if you choose to connect it — to read your free/busy times and create/update events you ask for. You can disconnect anytime.

How we use it

Only to run the assistant for you: remember what you tell it, fire your reminders, and offer proactive help. We use AI model providers (e.g. Google Gemini) to process your messages. We do not sell your data and do not use it to advertise to you.

Storage & security

Data is stored on our server (Hetzner, EU) over encrypted connections. Connected Google tokens are encrypted at rest. Access is restricted to the operator for support and reliability.

Your rights

• See what we know — ask Vita "what do you know about me?".
• Correct or forget — tell Vita to change or forget something.
• Export your data, and delete your account and all data — say "delete my data" to Vita or contact the operator. Disconnecting Google also revokes calendar access.
• Pause learning or proactive messages anytime ("pause learning", "stop nudges").

Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. On deletion it is permanently removed.
